Responsibilities:

​

• Provide home based speech therapy for clients with developmental or intellectual disabilities.

• Work on daily SOAP notes and complete quarterly progress reports for each client.

• Implement speech goals and create individualized treatment plans specific to each client.

• Provide speech strategies, give feedback and share progress for each client and their families.

• Perform tasks described by the SLP supervisor.

Requirements:

​

• A Bachelor's in Speech and Hearing Sciences, Speech-Language Pathology, Communications Disorders, etc.

• AZ Dept. Of Health Services SLPA License

• Reliable source of transportation with proof of car insurance and registration

• Fingerprint Clearance Card

• CPR certification

• Arizona State license

• Background check 

• One year of experience working as a SLPS preferred

• Supervise 1-3 SLPA’s in person and remotely.

• Speech therapy evaluations for SLPA client.

• Sign off on SLPA’s daily SOAP and progress notes.

• Communicate and mentor SLPAs on client’s speech goals.

• Direct therapy services to clients optional.

• Provide consultations for both SLPAs and families in person when needed.
